Connect Instagram to your business.
Overview
The Instagram connector links your Instagram Business account to Opsfly so your Agents and Autotasks can read and reply to direct messages and comments automatically.
Once connected, incoming Instagram DMs and comments on your posts and reels reach Opsfly the moment they happen — there's no delay and nothing to refresh.
What you can do with it

- React to a DM with an emoji
- Show a typing indicator or mark a message as seen
- Read and reply to comments on your posts and reels
- Hide or delete comments
- Move a public comment into a private DM reply
What you'll need
Before connecting, get an access token for your Instagram Business account from your Meta App Dashboard. If your token is tied to a connected Facebook Page, you'll also need the Page's app secret.
If you don't have these yet, your Meta Business Manager admin can generate them from the Instagram API setup page.
Connect Instagram
- Go to Connectors in the side menu.
- Click Add, then choose Instagram.
- Enter your Access token (and App secret, if required).
- Click Test connection to confirm the details are correct.
- Click Save Connector.

Good to know
Instagram has some platform restrictions compared to Messenger — there are no buttons, product carousels, or file attachments, and replies can only be made to top-level comments (a reply to a reply gets automatically promoted to the top level by Instagram).
