Messenger
Connect Facebook Messenger to your business.
Overview
The Messenger connector links your Facebook Page to Opsfly so your Agents and Autotasks can read and reply to customer conversations and Page comments automatically.
Once connected, incoming Messenger messages and Page comments reach Opsfly the moment they happen — there's no delay and nothing to refresh.
What you can do with it
- Reply to customer messages with text
- Send quick replies (up to 13 tappable options)
- Send buttons that open a link, start a call, or trigger an action (e.g. "View Order", "Track Delivery", "Call Support")
- Send a scrollable product carousel with images, titles, and buttons
- Send images, audio, video, or files
- Show a typing indicator or mark a message as seen
- Read and reply to comments on your Page's posts
- Hide or delete comments
- Move a public comment into a private message reply
What you'll need
Before connecting, get the following from your Meta Business account (Meta App Dashboard → Messenger settings):
- Page access token — authorizes Opsfly to send and receive messages on your Page's behalf
- App secret — used to verify that messages are really coming from Meta
If you don't have these yet, your Meta Business Manager admin can generate them from the Messenger API setup page.
Connect Messenger
- Go to Connectors in the side menu.
- Click Add, then choose Messenger.
- Enter your Page access token and App secret.
- Click Test connection to confirm the details are correct.
- Click Save Connector.
